ECBA Welcomes an Austrian Volunteer  to Foster Cross-Cultural Learning and Advance Internationalization

International learning does not always begin with traveling abroad. It can start by creating an environment where everyone has the opportunity to practice languages, exchange cultures, and learn together.

The Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (ECBA), Thaksin University, in collaboration with VSA Thailand (Volunteer Spirit Association), warmly welcomes Mr. Emil Egger, a volunteer from Austria, who will be joining the Faculty from 1 November 2026 to 31 August 2027.

On 3 November 2026, Asst. Prof. Dr. Hasamon Pengman, Deputy Dean for Administration and Human Resource Development, together with the Faculty's executive team and International Relations Committee, welcomed Mr. Egger during an orientation session. The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss his responsibilities and plan collaborative activities aimed at enhancing English communication skills and global competencies among ECBA students and staff.

The planned activities include English Club, Classroom Assistance, Cultural Exchange, and EnglishScore Tutorials, alongside digital content creation through vlogs and other creative media. Mr. Egger will also participate in activities involving students, staff, and local communities, providing opportunities for practical learning and meaningful cross-cultural exchange.

Beyond Language Learning: Creating Opportunities for a Wider World

 

This initiative marks another important step in ECBA's commitment to fostering an International Learning Environment, where students can overcome language barriers, broaden their cultural perspectives, and develop confidence in communication, preparing them for opportunities in the global labor market.

It also reflects the Faculty's continued dedication to advancing internationalization while enhancing educational quality in line with international standards, with the goal of equipping graduates with the competencies needed to succeed in the future world of work.

ECBA เปิดบ้านต้อนรับอาสาสมัครชาวออสเตรีย สร้างพื้นที่เรียนรู้ข้ามวัฒนธรรม ขับเคลื่อนความเป็นนานาชาติอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม

เพราะการเรียนรู้ระดับนานาชาติไม่จำเป็นต้องเริ่มต้นจากการเดินทางไปต่างประเทศเสมอไป แต่สามารถเริ่มต้นได้จากการสร้างสภาพแวดล้อมที่เปิดโอกาสให้ทุกคนได้ฝึกฝนภาษา แลกเปลี่ยนวัฒนธรรม และเรียนรู้ไปด้วยกัน

คณะเศรษฐศาสตร์และบริหารธุรกิจ มหาวิทยาลัยทักษิณ ร่วมกับสมาคมจิตอาสา VSA Thailand (Volunteer Spirit Association) ต้อนรับ Mr. Emil Egger อาสาสมัครจากประเทศออสเตรีย ซึ่งจะเข้ามาร่วมปฏิบัติงานกับคณะฯ ระหว่างวันที่ 1 พฤศจิกายน 2569 - 31 สิงหาคม 2570

เมื่อวันที่ 3 พฤศจิกายน 2569 คณะเศรษฐศาสตร์และบริหารธุรกิจ นำโดย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.หรรษมน เพ็งหมาน รองคณบดีฝ่ายบริหารและพัฒนาทรัพยากรบุคคล พร้อมด้วยคณะผู้บริหารและคณะกรรมการวิเทศสัมพันธ์ ร่วมให้การต้อนรับและปฐมนิเทศอาสาสมัครต่างชาติ ตลอดจนหารือแนวทางการปฏิบัติงานและออกแบบกิจกรรมเพื่อส่งเสริมทักษะการสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษและสมรรถนะสากลให้แก่นิสิตและบุคลากร

กิจกรรมที่เตรียมดำเนินการร่วมกัน ได้แก่ English Club, Classroom Assistant, Cultural Exchange และ EnglishScore Tutorial รวมถึงการสร้างสรรค์สื่อดิจิทัลผ่าน Vlog และ Content Creator ตลอดจนการมีส่วนร่วมในกิจกรรมกับนิสิต บุคลากร และชุมชน เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้เกิดการเรียนรู้และแลกเปลี่ยนประสบการณ์ข้ามวัฒนธรรมผ่านการปฏิบัติจริง

มากกว่าการเรียนรู้ภาษา คือการสร้างโอกาสสู่โลกที่กว้างขึ้น

กิจกรรมครั้งนี้นับเป็นอีกหนึ่งก้าวสำคัญของคณะเศรษฐศาสตร์และบริหารธุรกิจในการสร้างสภาพแวดล้อมการเรียนรู้ที่มีความเป็นนานาชาติ (International Learning Environment) มุ่งลดข้อจำกัดด้านภาษา เปิดมุมมองทางวัฒนธรรม และเสริมสร้างความมั่นใจในการสื่อสาร เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมให้นิสิตก้าวสู่ตลาดแรงงานในระดับสากล

ทั้งยังสะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของคณะฯ ในการขับเคลื่อนความเป็นนานาชาติ ควบคู่กับการยกระดับคุณภาพการจัดการศึกษาสู่มาตรฐานสากล เพื่อพัฒนาบัณฑิตให้มีสมรรถนะที่ตอบโจทย์โลกแห่งการทำงานในอนาคต
