ECBA x VSA Thailand: รวมพลังเรียนรู้ข้ามวัฒนธรรม ขับเคลื่อนสุขภาวะและเศรษฐกิจชุมชนอย่างยั่งยืน

เมื่อวันที่ 17 สิงหาคม 2569 คณะเศรษฐศาสตร์และบริหารธุรกิจ มหาวิทยาลัยทักษิณ ร่วมกับ สมาคมจิตอาสานานาชาติ (VSA Thailand) จัดกิจกรรม "ECBA-VSA International Mobility Program and Social Engagement" เพื่อเปิดโอกาสให้นิสิต บุคลากร และอาสาสมัครนานาชาติ ได้แลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ข้ามวัฒนธรรมและร่วมสร้างประโยชน์แก่สังคมท้องถิ่น

กิจกรรมเริ่มต้น ณ ห้อง Co-working Space คณะเศรษฐศาสตร์และบริหารธุรกิจ โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก อาจารย์ ดร. พินิจ ดวงจินดา คณบดีคณะเศรษฐศาสตร์และบริหารธุรกิจ พร้อมด้วยตัวแทนคณะผู้บริหาร ร่วมกล่าวต้อนรับผู้แทนจาก VSA Thailand และอาสาสมัครชาวต่างชาติ ก่อนเดินทางลงพื้นที่ร่วมกิจกรรม ณ ศูนย์พัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตและส่งเสริมอาชีพผู้สูงอายุตำบลเกาะแต้ว

Highlight สำคัญของกิจกรรม
• Workshop เชือกกล้วย เรียนรู้และลงมือทำกระเป๋าจากเชือกกล้วย ผลิตภัณฑ์ภูมิปัญญาท้องถิ่น
• Social Engagement & Well-being ส่งเสริมสุขภาวะทางใจ เศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียนฐานราก และการมีส่วนร่วมของชุมชน
• Global Mobility ฝึกทักษะการสื่อสารภาษาอังกฤษ สร้างมิตรภาพข้ามวัฒนธรรม และจิตสาธารณะระดับสากล

โครงการนี้เป็นอีกหนึ่งก้าวสำคัญในการขับเคลื่อนเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (SDGs) ทั้งด้านการส่งเสริมสุขภาพและความเป็นอยู่ที่ดี (SDG 3) การสร้างงานและเศรษฐกิจชุมชน (SDG 8) และการสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระดับสากล (SDG 17)

คณะเศรษฐศาสตร์และบริหารธุรกิจ ขอขอบคุณ VSA Thailand ศูนย์พัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิตและส่งเสริมอาชีพผู้สูงอายุตำบลเกาะแต้ว และผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมทุกคน ที่ร่วมสร้างประสบการณ์และความประทับใจร่วมกันในครั้งนี้

ECBA x VSA Thailand: Empowering Cross-Cultural Learning & Driving Sustainable Community Well-being

On August 17, 2026, the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration (ECBA), Thaksin University, in collaboration with the Volunteer Spirit Association Thailand (VSA Thailand), organized the "ECBA-VSA International Mobility Program and Social Engagement." The program aimed to foster cross-cultural exchange among students, staff, and international volunteers while engaging with the local community.

The event began with a warm welcome at the Co-working Space, Faculty of Economics and Business Administration. We were honored to have Dr. Pinit Duangjinda, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration, together with representatives of the executive board, welcome representatives from VSA Thailand and international volunteers. Following the opening session, participants traveled to the Senior Citizen Quality of Life Development and Occupational Promotion Center in Koh Taew to take part in hands-on community activities.

Key Highlights of the Program:
• Banana Fiber Handcraft Workshop: Participants learned and created banana fiber bags, reflecting local wisdom and community craftsmanship.
• Social Engagement & Well-being: Promoting mental well-being, supporting the local circular economy, and strengthening community participation.
• Global Mobility: Enhancing English communication skills, building cross-cultural friendships, and encouraging international volunteerism.

This initiative marks another step toward advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Good Health and Well-being (SDG 3), Decent Work and Economic Growth (SDG 8), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).
