Field-Based Learning in Cultural and Culinary Tourism: Typography and Cross-Cultural Product Ideation in Bangkok

Third-year Economics students, together with students from the Institute of Science Tokyo under the supervision of Dr. Zhu, participated in a field survey and workshop on cultural and culinary tourism and typography in Bangkok, Thailand. The program facilitated learning and intellectual exchange on name typography, typographic design and Thai linguistics in the context of tourism-related businesses, as well as Japanese–Thai product ideation. In addition, students engaged in experiential learning through visits to selected tourist destinations in Bangkok.
